Leaf Falling, Bud Forming Fall Retreat

 —  —

Wisdom Ways Center, 1890 Randolph Avenue , St. Paul, MN

This retreat s part of a series of seasonal retreats that will combine the principles and practices of Circles of Trust, the abundance of seasonal metaphors, and the power of music to help us understand and live into our lives. This series will also serve as an introduction to the Circle of Trust process. Details: https://www.wisdomwayscenter.org/events-registrations/p/paradoxes-of-autumn

Autumn is a time of incredible activity in the natural world and these realities help frame important cycles and questions in our own lives. While most are aware that leaves fall away leaving trees bare through the winter season, not as many know that the buds of new growth are often already formed. These and other autumn realities will shape our exploration of our own personal themes of transition, new growth, living in or preparing for dark times, and the powerful growth that occurs in ‘seasons’ of our lives that seem more dead than alive. We’ll explore using poetry, journaling, reflective time in nature, communal song, shared conversation and silence.

Developed by Parker Palmer and the Center for Courage & Renewal, The Circle of Trust® approach is distinguished by principles and practices intended to create a process of shared exploration where people can find safe space to nurture personal and professional integrity and the courage to act on it.
